| More Details: The WW-02 WheelWatcher incremental encoder system attaches to the outside of a Solarbotics GM8 series gear motor, and utilizes an adhesive-backed reflective codewheel, designed for injection-molded robot wheels specifically for the gear motor, to determine wheel rotation rate and distance traveled. It produces standard ChA/ChB raw quadrature outputs, as well as decoded clock and direction signals. If you need a pair of motor encoders for a DC driven two wheeled robot, consider the WW-02 Wheel Watcher Kit. The WW-02 WheelWatcher encoder will NOT work with standard servo motors. If you are using a standard servo motor, consider using a WW-01 WheelWatcher encoder. This kit is designed by Nubotics and distributed by Acroname Inc.
