There are three distinct advantages of using NiMH batteries:

  These batteries have 50% more capacity than their NICAD counterparts.
• Environmentally Green
  These batteries contain no cadnium which is proven to be a disaster in landfills.
• No Memory Effect
  Unlike NICADS, NiMH batteries don't have any memory effects and can be partially recharged and discharged at will without shortening the life of the battery.

NiMH batteries require a charger designed for NiMH batteries. We offer a Fast Charger with 9V charging capabilities.

We have used various types of rechargeable batteries over the years at Acroname and have found nothing that compares to these in terms of power and ease of use.  We also appreciate that these don't harm the environment as well.
