Pricing

Pricing is listed on each individual product page, as well as each product category menu.  You can also use our shopping basket which can show a complete list of all of our parts on one page.  The shipping basket will allow you to price an order including shipping and any applicable tax.  Pricing an order does not obligate you in any way.  If you choose, once your order has been priced, you can then optionally process the order to purchase online. 

Discounts

We do everything we can to offer our products at the lowest possible price.  Most of our customers are affiliated with educational and research groups so we cannot offer further educational discounts.  We do offer a 5 percent discount on 10 or more of any item we sell.  This discount is automatically applied to when ordering 10 or more of any one item.  You can also use the shopping basket to calculate this discount if you need a price quote. 

Shipping and Handling

When placing your order, the cost for shipping will be provided once your preferred shipping method is chosen.  An order total will be provided prior to you adding your credit card information.  This a good way to get a total quote prior to committing your final order. 

We feel that the UPS services are you best choice, if delivering to a physical address where someone can sign for the package.  UPS can be tracked with the tracking number we provide once your order ships.  UPS Ground delivery times vary from 1-6 business days, depending on your location.  Check our UPS Transit Time Map to get a better idea on delivery times to your area.  UPS Red is Next Day delivery by 10:30 a.m., noon, or end of day the next business day, depending on your location.  UPS Blue is a 2 Day delivery by the end of the second business day. 

Your shipping options (depending on your address and items purchased) are:

• UPS Ground, 1-6 business days with in the US
• UPS Blue, 2 business days with in the US
• UPS Red, Next business day with in the US
• First Class US Mail (under 9 oz.), 3-7 business days with in the US
• Priority US Mail, 3-5 business days with in the US

International Orders

We gladly ship outside the US.  We have had the best luck with UPS International as it is very reliable, it has the fewest problems passing through customs, it's trackable, and it's fairly inexpensive.  UPS International shipments usually arrive in 2-3 business days.  Payment must be made in US Dollars and is easiest using either a VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.  Our Order Tool can handle international orders.  Exact shipping prices need to be quoted once we know the weight of the order and the destination address.  Again, our shopping basket is the best place to handle these issues. 

One note regarding customs on international orders.  We do not have any control over the customs policies or practices in your country.  Using UPS International shipping seems to be the best way to avoid these troubles but other methods work well most of the time.  Occasionally people will ask us to miss-mark the products they are ordering as "gifts" or "samples".  We will not do this as we are held accountable for this by customs on our end and it is also not the truth. 

Availability

All parts and books listed are in stock, unless otherwise noted.  In Most cases, orders received before 2:00pm (MST), Monday through Friday, are generally shipped that same day, or the following business day.  If we forsee any delay in shipping your order, we will attempt contact you by email.  Keep in mind that we are not open and shipping doesn't count weekend days.  An overnight package ordered late Thursday night after our shipping cutoff will arrive Monday. 

Payment

Payment is accepted in the following forms:

• Check or Money Order made out in US Dollars to "Acroname Inc."
• Credit Card Payment.  All credit card orders must include the billing address for the credit card.  We use this information only to verify the credit card transaction.  VISA, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express are accepted
• Purchase Orders are accepted but an account needs to be set up with Acroname.  Contact us for more details. 

Return Policy

Acroname will gladly accept merchandise returns and will either replace the product or refund your money at your request.  In order to facilitate return processing:

• Please contact us first, to let us know that you are returning something. 
• All returns should be made within 30 days from date of invoice and be accompanied by the original invoice number, and a brief explanation of the reason for the return. 
• Return freight must be prepaid.  Sorry, COD returns cannot be accepted. 
• Return merchandise in original packaging and in resalable condition to the address listed at the bottom of this page. 
• Please note that parts returned due to customer error may be subject to a restocking charge. 
• Defective merchandise may be returned within 60 days of date of invoice and need not be in original packaging. 

This return policy may be altered for special circumstances.

Sales Tax

Only Colorado residents need to remit sales tax which is computed in the shopping basket.  Acroname cannot remit sales tax to a state other than Colorado.  Boulder residents need to pay Boulder sales tax as well.

Online Ordering

If you would like to order products from us using our secure online ordering process, use the shopping basket to collect all items for the order.  Then press the "Process Order" button.  You will be presented with forms requesting further information.  When asked to select a processing option, select the "Order Online" option.  This option allows you to process an order directly over the internet from your browser.  The information is all transferred over a secure link and is encrypted and password enabled for your security. 

Credit Card Check Digits

In order to protect both you and Acroname from fraudulent credit card use, our ordering system requires you to include the check digits from your credit card.  These digits are listed on the back of card and are typically three digits located in the signature strip of your card.  Often the final other digits of your card number are also included in this string.  We need the last three digits called the check digits. 

Credit Card Number Format

The online ordering system checks the digits of the credit card number you enter to ensure you didn't miss-type the numbers.  Most any format of numbers will do but we recommend typing the numbers with spaces to help you keep track of what you are typing.  For example, a Visa or MasterCard number may look like:
