Financial Reporting Accountant

Acroname's operations team is expanding and bringing more accounting responsibilities in-house. Our small team takes a hands-on leadership approach, so this position requires someone willing to actually "do the work".

THE ROLE

This is a full-time role. The financial analyst will oversee all financial activities of the
organization, including financial planning, accounting, and reporting and will report to the company’s COO. Job duties include preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; collecting and analyzing financial information that helps guide decision making both short term and long term.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

The successful candidate is a dynamic, driven, experienced business focused individual who embodies our quirky culture:

  • Automation first (or at least second)
  • Spreadsheets are a modern miracle, but let's use them as little as possible

  • Proficiency in financial software and systems
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

REQUIREMENTS

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • 5-10 years of experience as a financial analyst/controller/assistant controller in the high-tech sector, ideally relating to hardware products
  • Experience with GAAP accounting practices
