Description

The Hokuyo URG-04LX-UG01 Scanning Laser Rangefinder (LIDAR) with USB enables wide-range scope and obstacle detection with unwavering precision. This LIDAR sensor serves several robotics use cases in automotive and aerospace industries, material handling, packaging, supply chain management and more. The device has a low power consumption to enable longer working hours, and easily charges with a convenient USB port on the side of the device. The Hokuyo URG-04LX-UG01 LIDAR sensor is a premier product, ideal for students, researchers and professional engineers.

The sensor is not powered through a USB connection. A stable power source at 5VDC and a current capacity of 1.5A is recommended. The sensor also includes necessary wiring hardware to interface to the sensor via a serial connection. Additional cables can be purchased if necessary.
