Quick Start Guide

1. Download The Development Kit

• Download the BrainStem Development Kit (BDK) for you particular operating system and architecture.

2. Connect Power

• Using the provided universal power supply connect the barrel jack into the hub.

• Connect the other end into a 120/240V AC outlet.

3. Connect Data

• With the provided USB 3.0 A-MiniB cable connect the A side to your host computer and the MiniB side to the connection labeled “Up0”.

4. Run System

• Unzip the downloaded package

• Navigate to the “/bin” folder

• Open HubTool

Note

Linux users will need run the script labeled “udev.sh” located in the “BrainStem_linux_Driverless” folder before they will be able communicate with a BrainStem device.
