LEAN AND MINIATURIZED PRODUCTION TESTING: With its ultra-small footprint, the MTM-Load-1 is engineered for load-testing of battery chargers, amplifiers, USB power outputs, and motor driver circuits. Ideal for functional testing in production or validation test environments.
- Single-channel and software-controlled DC load module
- Handles up to 30V or 10A at 50W continuous (150W peak) power dissipation
- Programmable control of load voltage or current
- Supports Constant-Current Mode
The MTM-Load-1, part of Acroname's Manufacturing Test Module (MTM) system, is a single-channel software-controlled electronic load for automated functional testing in production or validation test environments.
With it's ultra-small footprint, MTM-Load-1 is the load you need for lean, miniaturized production testing. MTM-Load-1 is ideal for load-testing of battery chargers, amplifiers, USB power outputs or motor driver circuits.
Each MTM-Load-1 can dissipate a DC load of 50W continuous power up to 30V or 10A and features constant-current operation. Multiple MTM-Load-1 modules can be used in parallel for higher demand load applications.

MANUFACTURING TEST MODULE (MTM)
The MTM-LOAD-1 is part of Acroname's Manufacturing Test Module (MTM) system. Each module in the MTM series is ruggedized and designed to survive the rigors of CM or OEM manufacturing environments around the world. Pin interfaces are protected against reverse polarity and over voltage connections are designed to operate from 0˚C to 70˚C ambient, with no external cooling or fans. As a BrainStem, the MTM-LOAD-1 module can be connected directly to a host PC via USB, or participate in a BrainStem I2C network of multiple MTM modules. The MTM series is designed to allow your production lines to scale as simply as plugging in additional modules. Every MTM module uses a robust and inexpensive PCIe connector, though they are not PCI devices. This connector can be placed on an inexpensive PCB with test probes (aka: pogo pins) to interface to a device-under-test.
Every MTM module utilizes the BrainStem API host-based applications in C++ and Python. All BrainStems can also operate without a host PC by running embedded, user-defined programs based on the BrainStem reflex language. The BrainStem reflex API closely emulates the C++ API. Each module also features a self-discovery and notification system, allowing embedded and host based applications to determine the module's capabilities and programmatically control and direct communication between modules on the BrainStem network.
